It was a cold morning on December 20th as Ashani, Jasleen and myself took a train down to union station. It was our first time going to Toronto by ourselves on a train. Even though we didnt want to leave our home during the winter break, we knew that we had to complete this assignment. After we arrived at the union station we started to follow the map towards the Casting Factory. It was quite difficult starting out because we did not know where we were exactly located. We went into Tim Horton's to grap a cup of coffee and to re-look at the map to see if we are taking the right directions. When we left we decided to take a bus because it would cut down on walking in the cold weather. After getting on the bus we realized that we were going in the wrong direction. It was such a scary moment because we had no idea how to get to the casting factory. However, there were a lot of good citizens who directed us to our final destination. The bus driver was also kind as he ensured that we were dropped off at our correct location. Two minuets after getting off the bus, we located the casting factory and we we finally completed our assignment. Ashani, Jasleen an myself walked away triumphantly and we were so proud of our accomplishment. As a reward we went to the Eaton centre and did a little Christmas shopping before taking the bus back home.
This experience in Toronto gave me a lot more confidence and I know that I can accomplish anything that I set my mind to.
